21-year-old Singaporean footballer Danelle Tan, who currently plays for Japanese club Tokyo Verdy Beleza, scored the winning goal for her team in the AFC Women’s Champions League on Nov. 12.
Her team won 1-0 against Myanmar side ISPE WFC, and is now top of the Group C table after two wins in two games.
Tan signed a one-year contract with Tokyo Verdy Beleza in July 2025. They are the defending champions of Japan’s Women Empowerment League.
